Abstract

The conditions in Kosovo’s hospital reflect the need for an urgent solution that leads to an efficient management of the patients. A suitable solution would be implementing a Patient Information System. In line with this, the primary goal of this capstone project was to establish the main functionalities that would enhance the efficiency of hospitals. Another goal was to evaluate Kosovo’s Health Information Strategy, especially the patient-related fields, against the findings of this capstone project and suggest changes that might be needed.
