Abstract

This thesis describes the idea conception, story formulation, technical details, and presentation of a computer animated film entitled "The tale of the firefly". The story was produced in 2D animation, then composed into sequences in AfterEffects, then rendered to a Quick Time movie as an individual clip. Sound and music will be recorded and edited with SoundEdit 16 and Deck II. Finally, images and sound editing will be done on an AVID station and then transferred to SVHS videotape.
