Abstract

Describes the author's creation of her thesis exhibition, an installation of textile sculpture titled "Threadwork." In this thesis, the artist explains how labor shapes the content of her work and how she translates experiences from her past into textile art. Includes color photographs of her exhibition as well as of artworks which inspired her.
