A descriptive narration of a project to create a 2-D computer animated film, "True nature," featuring an architect who discovers his true nature as an artist when he receives a pencil as a gift. The artistic style changes throughout the film. The first part is Cubist-inspired and depicts a village drawn in geometric shapes and straight lines; the second part is Fauvist-inspired and features the main character's journey of imagination after a girl hands him a pencil. The third part combines natural shapes with some geometric ones and features the artist returning to his village and redrawing it in more natural, curving shapes and lines. Includes original thesis proposal, original storyboard, still images from the film, sketches, and sound credits.
