Abstract
Describes the creation of a short 16mm live-action film, Infection, which features a veteran of the 1991 Gulf War, Nathaniel, who was traumatized by his experiences and lost his specific memories about what he did in Iraq. 12 years later, Nathaniel is haunted by the ghost of one of his dead fellow soldiers, who taunts him with hints of what he has forgotten. Then Nathaniel learns from his troubled parents the secret of who his true father was.
