Abstract

In this thesis, I will describe my deep impressions about "The Image of America" through the eyes of a foreigner. My work is usually an expression of my inner self, my feelings, experiences, concepts, dreams and hopes. An idea or thing is the source of my expression. The purpose of my thesis to present my ideas on this image of America. To project these ideas, I used various metals and design elements such as line, shape, color, and form which offered me a wide range of characteristics. To break though the limitations of color in using metal, I introduced the technique of oil painting.
