Aims & Scope

Aim The aim of the Journal is to advance understanding of environmental sustainability in order to serve as a bridge between academic and practitioner communities and guide policy and management practice to achieve environmental sustainability. Scope All articles must relate to the concept of environmental sustainability and fall into one of the following five categories (6,000 words maximum): Research: Peer-reviewed articles presenting the results of original research. Synthesis: Peer-reviewed articles presenting new understandings constructed from previously unconnected elements. Insight: Peer-reviewed articles presenting new ways of looking at existing concepts or practices by providing new perspectives or challenging underlying assumptions. Vision: Peer-reviewed articles exploring plausible alternatives for the future. Invited Commentaries and Opinions: Essays invited by the Editor-in-Chief to provide commentary or opinion on a timely issue, perspective policy or practice.
